Healing negative self-image and instead creating a desire to get to know your body, take care of your body “like a temple,” in physical and spiritual health.
  • I AM ⭕️ Reading Chapter 3: Acceptance, p. 27:
    Deeper discussion on the meaning of Acceptance. Topics: Internal Rejection, Motivation, Spiritual Bypass, Calming Anxiety, Accessing Energy through Acceptance. Acceptance is fundamental to a mind and body synergy because it is the main ingredient to calming anxiety, and becoming present to the ‘now’ moment. Acceptance generally begins in the mind and translates as calming to the nervous system. When you practice acceptance and calm anxiety, your vitality and health increase immensely.
I AM  ⭕ MINDFUL MEDITATION & JOURNALING PRACTICES
  • I AM ⭕ Mindful Meditation: p 11-13:
    Here, Maggie will read and discuss in great detail, the Mindfulness Meditation Practice #1: Breathe on p11. She will break down into specific technique, breath and body awareness, to help you understand where in your body to focus your breath, and how to begin to check in with your breath often throughout the day. This meditation will help you make the mental connection to your somatic body when breathing, and help you feel very calm and wonderfully present!
  • I AM Mindful Practice #2 Honor Your Body “Self-Talk” p.20
    Maggie’s voice leads you through an exercise to help you become more aware of how your mind speaks to your body. Simply listen to the guidance, and try the practice as suggested. You will learn so much about your internal dialogue, and this will help you heal negative self-talk, and thus develop a more harmonious mind and body union, fundamental to your spiritual and physical health. Sit and listen, read the pages 20- 22 at least once before you try the practice.
